Connect in a few steps
Choose ChatGPT or Claude, check its account and workspace requirements, and sign in to CommonQuant. Add https://commonquant.ai/mcp as a custom connection, review the CommonQuant authorization screen, then ask your assistant for a free account check. A connection is confirmed only after CommonQuant observes an authenticated request.
Keep control of your account
Website sign-in and assistant authorization are separate. Signing in does not connect an assistant or authorize spending. Your wallet, subscription and owned research stay with your CommonQuant account. Official ChatGPT and Claude website sign-in remains unavailable until provider access and verification are complete. Existing Google and email sign-in remain available.
Credits and monthly action allowances
The assistant policy provides 20 monthly MCP units on Free and no additional action cap on Max. Existing Starter and Pro subscribers retain legacy allowances of 200 and 600 units respectively. Credits still apply. Allowances are shared across assistants and reset at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month, without rollover. The connection page shows the policy rollout status and current pricing.
Billable lookups, premium searches, new report unlocks and alert creation use one unit; strategy generation, deep research and thesis generation use ten. Public previews, quotes, account checks, polling, retries, owned-result retrieval and stopping alerts use zero units. Each live capability remains subject to its actual availability and resource entitlements.
Research you can inspect
Public previews link to dated sources and published research. Protected content requires authenticated access. Paid work has a maximum quote; alert activation requires explicit conditions, frequency, duration, destination and ongoing-cost authorization. A generated strategy alone does not activate monitoring.

Can I try this without spending credits?
Yes. The interactive demos on /connect are simulations, and connection/account checks are free.
Does my ChatGPT or Claude subscription include CommonQuant credits?
No. Assistant subscriptions and CommonQuant credits are separate.
Can research be discovered without connecting?
Public previews can be read and cited without an assistant connection. Full protected research requires CommonQuant authentication and applicable access. Search placement and citations are not guaranteed.
