Micron profit growth approaching 1,000% — ride the earnings momentum

Micron is signaling extraordinary profit growth right now, driven heavily by demand for memory chips in AI technology. When a tech company shows this kind of explosive, highly profitable growth, investors tend to pile in both before and after the actual earnings report. We want to ride that wave of optimism. We'll stay in the trade as long as the stock maintains its upward momentum, but we'll cut our losses if the stock price starts dropping below its recent average.
Strategy approach
Build a rule-based strategy that enters long MU on D1 when the stock closes higher than the previous day's close on above-average volume (volume > 20-day SMA volume). Exit if the stock closes below the 20-day simple moving average, or hold for a maximum of 15 trading days. Set a 5% trailing stop loss.
