The stock had a strong initial reaction in premarket trading, and retail and institutional investors are likely to pile in throughout the day. We want to capture the upward momentum as the market digests just how big this contract is for Intel's revenue.
Strategy approach
Build a rule-based strategy that enters long INTC on the 1H timeframe when price breaks above the high of the previous 4-hour bar and RSI(14) is between 50 and 70. Exit on a 5% trailing stop or a maximum hold of 10 trading days.
