When a leveraged fund gets hammered hard enough, the forced selling flushes out weak hands — and once that pressure is exhausted, prices can spring back fast, which is exactly the snap-back now minting $50 billion for the crowd that stayed in. The fact that aggressive money is confidently piling back into triple-leveraged tech and chip funds signals the panic phase of the August shakeout is over and momentum has flipped back upward. Leveraged funds also have a mechanical tailwind: as prices rise they must keep buying more of the underlying stocks, which can feed the move in the short run. The catch is these funds bleed value quickly if the market chops sideways, so this is a short, disciplined ride — not a buy-and-hold — with tight exits and no new entries right before big inflation or Fed
