This isn't just headline oil-price noise — Saudi Aramco is physically telling European customers they'll get zero crude next month after the Red Sea pipeline attack, a real supply squeeze. Meanwhile the Fed just showed record confidence in economic growth, meaning oil demand isn't rolling over to offset the lost supply. Oil already turned higher on this news, confirming the market is repricing physical tightness. When crude must travel longer routes by sea, tanker owners charge much higher freight rates, and tanker stocks historically move faster than oil itself during supply disruptions. That makes tankers the cleanest, most levered way to play a genuine physical supply cutoff.
