When a record amount of fresh cash floods into tech funds, it creates a wave of buying pressure that often sustains itself for weeks as fund managers deploy that capital. This news suggests the fundamental demand for tech remains incredibly strong right now. We want to ride this momentum rather than fight it.
Strategy approach
Build a trend-following strategy that enters long QQQ on the daily timeframe when price closes above the 20-day simple moving average and the 10-day rate of change (ROC) is positive. Exit if the price closes below the 20-day SMA. Limit holds to 20 trading days.
