Oil prices are being pushed higher by a combination of immediate war threats and underlying supply problems. If military action actually happens, or if the hidden supply shortage becomes obvious to the whole market, oil prices will likely surge. Going long on oil captures this rising risk.
Strategy approach
Build a swing trading strategy for USO (United States Oil Fund) on the daily timeframe. Go long when the daily closing price is above the 10-day moving average and the RSI(14) is between 50 and 70. Exit when RSI exceeds 80.
