Strategy approach
Build a rule-based strategy that monitors takeover and M&A speculation. Enter long PYPL on D1 when the 20-day average volume surges above the 50-day average volume and price closes up >2% from the previous day, signaling institutional accumulation or news leaks. Exit on a 5% trailing stop or 14-day max hold. Apply a similar volume-breakout screen to potential acquisitions targets in the media and e-commerce tech space (ROKU, SHOP).
