Oil breaks $100 on four simultaneous global supply shocks — ride the energy rall

With global conflicts hitting four separate chokepoints for oil supply at the same time, the pressure on prices is coming from a real physical shortage risk, not just speculation. When supply gets squeezed this broadly, oil producers and drilling companies see their profit margins expand rapidly. A break above $100 a barrel brings a wave of new attention from big investors, pushing energy stocks higher as money rotates out of falling tech shares.
Strategy approach
Build a momentum strategy that enters long XLE and OIH on D1 when front-month Brent crude oil closes above $100 for two consecutive sessions. Exit if Brent closes back below $95. Use a 12% trailing stop and a 30-day max hold period.
