Mining Bitcoin only pays well when the coin's price is high, and with BTC stuck below $65,000 and nearly half the supply held at a loss, pure mining profits are getting squeezed. But miners like Riot, Hut 8, CleanSpark and Marathon own exactly what AI companies are desperate for — warehouses full of cheap-powered computing equipment — and they are lining up billions in AI deals to monetize it. At the same time, investor money is flowing back into Bitcoin funds, so if the coin eventually recovers, the miners keep that upside too. That combination makes miners with real AI business lines a better bet right now than Bitcoin itself, which has been sitting out the broader market rally.
