Strategy approach
Build a momentum and relative-strength strategy on a daily (1D) timeframe targeting small-to-mid cap biotech ETFs like XBI or IBB. Entry condition: Price crosses above the 50-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) and the MACD line crosses above the signal line. Condition 2: RSI(14) is between 50 and 70 (confirming momentum without being overbought). Exit condition: Price closes below the 20-day SMA, or a 10% trailing stop is triggered. Max hold: 30 trading days.
