That means real physical barrels are being taken off the market at a time of a global energy crunch, which supports prices for weeks, not just hours. Oil majors with low-cost production and diversified logistics benefit both from higher crude prices and from relative safety as the market concentrates on secure supply. Buying energy exposure while the disruption continues is a straightforward way to ride the supply shock.
