Strategy approach
Build a momentum strategy that enters long XLE on D1 when front-month WTI crude oil futures (CL=F) make a 10-day high and the 20-day average of oil prices is trending upward. Exit if WTI drops 5% below its 10-day high or after a 21-day max hold.
