Fed warns inflation is speeding up again — short-term bond bounce play

If the Fed is forced to keep rates higher for longer to fight this inflation, the economy could eventually slow down, which typically sends investors looking for the safety of government bonds. Playing the dip on bond ETFs could capture a bounce when the initial panic selling settles.
Strategy approach
Build a swing trading strategy for long-dated Treasury bonds using TLT. Enter long on the daily (D1) chart when TLT drops to touch its 200-day moving average and the 14-day RSI falls below 35 (oversold). Exit the trade when RSI crosses back above 50, or set a hard stop loss 3% below the entry price.
