Nvidia's CEO just crowned Marvell the next trillion-dollar chipmaker — buy the dip on the AI chip frenzy
Nvidia's CEO publicly called Marvell Technology the next trillion-dollar company, sending its stock up nearly 19%. At the same time, SoftBank announced a €75 billion AI data center buildout and Alphabet is raising $80 billion for AI — all of which need custom chips that Marvell makes.
Idea
The single most influential figure in AI — Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang — went on stage at Computex and publicly predicted Marvell will reach a $1 trillion valuation, calling this the age of 'useful AI.' That kind of endorsement from a competitor and industry leader is extraordinarily rare and signals deep confidence in Marvell's custom-chip business. On the same day, Alphabet announced $80 billion in AI fundraising and SoftBank committed €75 billion to build AI data centers in France — all of which will need the kind of networking and custom silicon that Marvell designs. The stock is already up 18-19%, and with this much fundamental firepower behind the AI buildout, any short-term pullback could be a buying opportunity.
